Policies and Procedures

The PSJA ECHS Library provides learners with access to a wide range of printed and digital resources and assists them in finding resources that match their academic and personal interests.

Hours of Operation : 

During the school year, the PSJA ECHS Library Media Center is open during school hours Monday through Friday. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Upon entering the library, students must sign in. Library passes are required. 

Circulation Policy : 

 The number of library books a student can check out varies depending on availability. A student can check out a book for two weeks, and then renew it if needed. There is a fine of .05 for each day a book is late.

General Patron Rules : 

While using the library media center, students and staff are expected to behave appropriately and respect all library patrons, staff, and faculty. The following are basic guidelines that students must follow.  1. Food and drinks are not allowed in the library 2. Furniture, books, and other print resources are to be returned to their proper locations if used during the visit. If, however, materials are used and returned damaged, then the patron will be responsible.
